Hydraulic Modeling

Brailey Hydrologic provides advanced 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling and sediment transport analyses to support flood studies, infrastructure design, and riverine assessments.

 

We develop, calibrate, and apply models using industry-standard platforms including HEC-RAS and SRH-2D to simulate flow hydraulics, water surface profiles, velocity fields, and sediment dynamics under a range of conditions. Model inputs are informed by high-resolution topographic and bathymetric data, with calibration and validation based on field measurements where available. 

Sediment Transport Modeling

Sediment transport modeling is conducted to review erosion, deposition, and channel stability analyses to assess project impacts and long-term geomorphic response.

 

Results are delivered through clear technical documentation and visualizations to support engineering design, permitting, and decision-making.
