As members of Ram Valley LLC, Brailey Hydrologic’s principals own and operate the 300 kW Juniper Creek Hydroelectric System in Eagle River, Alaska.
In addition to providing decades of revenue, this system demonstrates the feasibility of alpine hydroelectric systems in subarctic climates. The system runs year-round, is 100% reliable, and meets the annual power needs for 200 homes.
Brailey Hydrologic provides comprehensive feasibility studies for riverine infrastructure projects, supporting planning and decision-making for bridges, culverts, bank protection, levees, and flood mitigation systems.
Our studies can integrate hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS), geomorphic assessment, and field-based evaluation to quantify design flows, flood risks, sediment transport, and channel behavior.
Results are developed to support alternatives analysis, permitting, and preliminary engineering design. All work is performed by a Professional Engineer, ensuring technically sound, defensible evaluations that meet regulatory and project development requirements.
